Most I Love Taimei outlets are open 11am to 10pm, every day of the week. That covers 12 of our 14 outlets. The other two, Junction 8 in Bishan and West Mall in Bukit Batok, close earlier, at 9.30pm. It’s only half an hour, but it’s the half hour where people turn up after a late dinner and find the shutters down. Every outlet’s hours are listed below.
Which outlets close at 9.30pm?
Just two:

Weekends aren’t different. Neither are weekdays. It’s the same hours seven days a week, which makes it one less thing to Google.
Is I Love Taimei open late for supper?
Sort of. 10pm isn’t a 2am supper spot, and we won’t pretend it is. But it does cover the after-dinner, after-movie, after-overtime window most people actually mean when they say “supper”. If you’re in the east, we wrote up a late-night supper run near Tampines MRT.
Here’s a small tip for the last half hour. Chicken is fried to order, not batch-fried and kept under a lamp, so give it a few minutes. Taiwan Popcorn Chicken goes into the oil with basil leaves, and you’ll smell it before the bag reaches you. Arriving at 9.58pm and hoping for a miracle is a bit sian for everyone. Come at 9.40pm and you’re fine.
Do the opening hours change on public holidays?
These are the regular daily hours we list for each outlet. Mall hours and holiday arrangements can shift, especially on eves and on the day itself. Why the hours look like a night market’s, just earlier
We’ve been doing this since 2009. We’re women-owned and co-run by Phoebe and Yadah, with 14 outlets island-wide now. The food comes from Taiwan’s night markets, which in Taipei run well past midnight (the Taipei travel site lists them if you’re planning a trip). We’re in malls, though, so we keep mall-ish hours. The fried chicken is the same idea. The clock just had to compromise.
All our food is made with no pork and no lard, and we don’t serve beef. We are not halal certified. That’s the honest answer, and we’d rather tell you plainly.
